Drawing Class with Ed Heffernan in Cancelled

Keep in touch with Adair for updated news. Ed will start a drawing class beginning the first monday in November,Nov 2 at 4-7pm.
Cost will be $200 for the class which will end right before the holidays.
We will split the cost of the model. We'll meet atthe Crysalis school which is east on Kit Carson until you reach the Angladas building.
The road to the school is opposite that building on the northside of the highway on the dirt road going north, toward the mountain)
upplies: 18X24 newsprint drawing pad, charcoal, various erasors, two brushes, ink, drawing board, small piece of chamois, drawing pencils, sand paper.

Take this class with Ed Heffernan

Drawing Class
Sept. 9th, Tuesday at Chrysalis School from 4-6:30PM
First Class Feb 17th.

Cost for Ed's class will be $200. and the money will go for the various needs of Chrysalis school. There will be 14 sessions, some with models
Heffernan studied at The Chicago Art Institute. If you never have taken a class from Ed, now is the time, you will not regret it.

Take this Class!!!


Ed Heffernan is teaching a drawing class at the Chrysalis school, cost for class will be around $200 including model's fees, money will be donated to the Chrysalis Alternative school for field trips. Classes may start next week, Tues and Wed at 3:30-5:30. Contact Adair at adair@taosnet.com for more information or to sign up for the class.

UNM Spring Term/Second Eight Week Classes

Raku Pottery: An exciting pottery workshop exploring the Raku process which dates back to 16th century Japan. Participants will create hand build vessels and do their own glazing. They will pull their hot pots from the kiln and place them into to a reduction atmosphere producing spectacular metallic and crackle effects.
Instructor: Matt Adams Cost: $103. ($53 plus classroom fee of $50) Credits: 1 Location: UNM-Taos Klauer Campus Dates: Saturdays, April 5, 12, 19 and 26 Time: 12 to 5pm
Introduction to Lapidary/ Stone Cutting and Polishing:Learn to turn rough stones into highly polished semi-precious gemstones. In your first class participants will visit the UNM owned and abandoned Harding Mine sight and handpick up to five pounds of Lepidolite, a semi hard, pinkish to purplish plum colored and translucent stone. Lepidolite cuts and polishes quickly, the perfect stone for a beginning project.
Instructor: Eddie Sanchez Cost: $88. ($53 plus classroom fee of $35) Credits: 1 Location:UNM-Taos Klauer Campus Dates: Saturdays April 5, 12, 19, 26 Time: 9 to 2pm
Seeing Skills for Drawing:Learn how to draw accurately from observation, translate the three-dimensional world into two–dimensional representation using line, value, shape and texture. Subject matter will include simple geometric forms as well as more complex material such as the human head.
Instructor: Giovanna Paponetti Fee: $73. ($ 53 plus $20 classroom fee) Credits: 1 Location: Room UNM-Taos Klauer Campus Dates: April 16, 23, 30, May 7 and 14 Time: Wednesdays 5:30 to 7:30 pm
