Master's Class by Michelle Cooke Feb 2nd

Michelle Cooke will be teaching a Master's Class in Painting, Drawing, and Sculpture at the Stables Gallery on February 2, 10 am - 2 pm. The cost is $50. Interested artists can call 776-2114.

Michelle Cooke guest artist at Fenix Gallery

MID-WINTER EXHIBITION: The Fenix Gallery, 208 A Ranchitos Road, Taos presents a show in the East Gallery of recent drawings by guest artist, Michelle Cooke. Cooke’s exquisite graphite renderings in the Pear Series, depict unique qualities of the pear, alone or in groups; creating a narrative. In 2008 Cooke will be part of an exhibition at the Fine Arts Museum in Santa Fe, Flux, Reflections on Contemporary Glass. Curator, artist, professor, Cooke plans a gallery discussion Sunday February 10, 4-5PM.

What is TAP? TAP is an energetic community movement to educate and to encourage connections among TaoseƱos so that people with special needs feel fully included in their social, recreational, spiritual, work and home life. This will help to create a diverse and strong community that is a better place for everybody.

Locol Color show

If you did get a chance head out to see the show at the Gallery of the Green at the Taos Country Club. The art exhibit features artists that appeared in Betsy Carey's Tempo column in 2007.
The artists works featured Nancy Delpero, Gary Fey, Dawn Chandler, Cami Thompson, Jonathan Blaustein, Kemper Coley, Shari Kesten­baum and more. A big thank you to Betsy Carey for all she does for the art community.

Artist of the Month at Sage Fine art Gallery

If you have a chance stop by Sage Fine Art on to see Salvador Giglio new works. This piece has recently sold but there are other equally fine pieces in the show.
