Farnsworth Gallery Taos announces a second annual one person exhibition, Clarence Medina. This major exhibition of new works "at home along the Rio Grande" by this prolific plein aire painter from Dixon will include over 40 new works. Clarenceʼs passion and love for his northern New Mexico home is evident in the brilliance and vision of his work.
Come meet Clarence at the artist's opening reception, Saturday May 31st, 3-6 pm at Farnsworth Gallery In Taos, 133 Paseo Del Pueblo Norte

Memorial for Betsy Carey

There will be a gathering at the Taos Country Club Monday, the 19th at 4 PM. I hope all of Betsy's Taos community will be able to join together on Monday and Honor Betsy as she has honored and supported our community. Bring food for a buffet that does not require heating.

Thank you Betsy Carey

We are all sad to hear that Betsy Carey died this past week. She was a selfless contributor to the Taos art scene best know for the Local Color column in the Taos news and the Art shows she hosted at the Gallery on the Green at the Taos Country Club. Betsy's interests also were spread among a variety of human rights and political causes, if there was a cause worth fighting for, Carey stepted up to the green. Visit the Taos News for more info.

Spring Outdoor Landscape Painting Workshop

May 24-25 at Harwood Art Center in Albuquerque with Michelle Chrisman . It is beautiful and the weather is perfect this time of year in ABQ. SD Youngwolf- New Paintings and Masks"

At Seco Pearl through May 31, and the opening reception is Friday, May 9, 6 PM. The show is composed of abstract as well as figurative paintings and gourd and papier mache masks.
