I arrived in Alaska in December of 2013, 1 week after the winter solstice, on the Alaska State Ferry. It was dark and rainy evening. The sun slowly returned and with the light, a new beginning.

Now that spring has arrived in Taos, the color green is cropping up everywhere. So if green is in your valley or mountain, or if you simply want to see what artists can do when their prompt is “anything green,” then head over to the Taos Country Club’s Gallery on the Green, located south of Ranchos de Taos off County Road 110, south of Ranchos de Taos.A reception for the juried exhibit, “Color It Green,” is planned Friday (April 4) from 6-8 p.m

Nice show. Some really good pieces. The small three dimensional pieces got a little lost in the glass cabinets by the entryway. A lot of talented artists around these parts!
A little free wine would've been nice.
